Suspicious activity on your bank account - if you notice anything suspicious on your bank account such as multiple deductions or an unexpected inward of funds, contact your Bank immediately.

Online Shopping - with the influx of several new online-only retailers, before transferring money, check that they are a reliable party by reviewing:

If it sounds too good to be true, then it probably is.

Social engineering - some banks have lost their voice repeating the same message over and over again but here's another reminder: officers of the Bank will NEVER ask for your card or account details over the phone or email. Another thing to keep in mind is to ensure that calls for donations of platforms such as Facebook are legitimate - you'd be surprised how low people would stoop down to.
